Tips for Smarter Spray Tanning
For ab-fab results, before spray tanning, be sure to remove makeup, exfoliate and shower, but don't shave for 24 hours before your session.
If you're planning on spray-tanning, keep these hot tips in mind:
Prior Prep
- Don't wear deodorant, perfume or makeup. Remove it prior to your session.
- Don't shave for 24 hours prior to your visit.
- Shower and exfoliate to remove excess skin cells.
- Spend a little extra time exfoliating thick skin on knees, elbows, and ankles.
- Spray Tan Tanning goggles for your eyes
During Session
- Make sure you bring underwear to protect sensitive areas.
- Use lip balm and eye protection.
- Bring dark, loose clothing and open-toed shoes to wear afterward.
Afterwards
- Don't shower for 4-6 hours following your spray tan.
- Don’t exercise until after your first shower—at least four hours after you tan.
- Shower using only shower gel and your hands.
- After showering, apply our tan extenders to make your spray tan last longer!
